Southcoast Butlers@Klute Lounge, Bournemouth

I have only really started training seriously again and already I have some work lined up for the 21st Feb. This leaves me 1 week to get ripped as I am required to be topless for this job and considering I haven't trained ABS since last year it's a Big ask, but one that I am willing to take on.
I have chosen to lower my Carb intake as the week progresses and I will begin Water Depletion 6 days out.
I will definitely be posting a picture the night before the gig as it will be interesting to see how much I have changed since the pic I took at the beginning of the year.
As for my training..I have been hitting personal bests since beginning Strength Training and the ones that stand out the most for me are D/B Chest Press = 8reps @ 42kg's D/B and Squat = 6reps @ 150kg..more to follow..

Strength Training Phase Begins

I have designed a programme for myself to see me through the next 6 weeks.
It will be mostly strength training with the aim to gain as muscle mass as I can before I change to Hypertrophy in April.
My week is split as follows..Mon-Lower Body, Tue-Upper Body, Wed-Rest, Thur-Lower Body, Fri-Upper Body, Sat-Rest, Sun-Rest.
My Diet will still be well balanced and contain enough clalories to accomodate this type of training, however I will need to maintain a low-ish Body Fat % because of work commitments.
I have attached my first picture taken at the beginning of the year..
Let the Journey Begin!!

Training Begins 1/2/2010

I am back from a well earnt break and have set new goals for 2010.
Alot of big, personal changes have been made in my life since winning the Maximuscle Cover Model Comp.
I am no longer working as a Carpenter.
I have decided to train as a Personal Trainer and have enrolled on the Premier Course held at the Littledown Centre in Bournemouth.
10 Weeks of intense studying!!!
Seems a bit drastic but to be honest its all going well. I am passing theory and practical exams and learning some great things along the way about myself, my training and the correct ways to train in order to develop myself as a Fitness Model and competitive Bodybuilder.
Off the back of this new knowledge I decided to enter the Fame British Championships at the ExCel, London, in May.
My training for the comp has begun and I am currently on a Strength Training Phase.
I recently had my Body Composition test done at college and found that my body fat perentage is at 11% so I am pretty happy considering its only just begun and I'm still pretty lean.
I have put on some weight due to muscle mass increase so I have filled out a bit since the pics last Autumn and I will upload some pics in the next few weeks aswell as my training routines/progress.
I have also started my own Personal Training Business 'JB PERSONAL FITNESS' and details regarding my location and availability for personal training will follow soon and can also be found on my website http://www.jaybenedetti.com/.
